Growth Record of the Trashline Orb-weaver

The object in the web of the trashline orb-weaver in my garden has grown remarkably, so I compared it with earlier photos. Trashline orb-weavers build a vertical line of food remains and debris at the center of their web to form an object. The spider itself hides within this line, waiting for prey to get caught in the web. When webs are built on plants or grass, they often get damaged, making it difficult to observe the same individual over time. However, this particular spider built its web beneath an insect hotel, allowing me to observe it continuously. I'm looking forward to seeing how much further the web will expand.
