I attached the GoPro MISSION1 PRO ILS to a microscope and recorded videos using differential interference contrast (DIC) microscopy.
I found that the MISSION1 PRO ILS has all the features needed to make it an ideal camera for microscopy.

Differential Interference Contrast (DIC)
DIC microscopy produces relatively dim images, making slow-motion video recording difficult with the cameras I have used in the past.
However, the MISSION1 PRO ILS has excellent low-light sensitivity, allowing me to capture clean, noise-free slow-motion videos.
I think this camera is ideal for recording fast-moving microorganisms.
I doubt I'll ever use another camera for microscope video recording again!
