The LED illuminator is 2 fold brighter than the original 50W halogen lamp.
Even when using the original halogen lamp, low power objective lens edge of view field became dark. It is the same after replacement to LED illuminator, therefore please use a diffuser.
This LED illuminator is flicker-free so you can shoot with the brightness you like. When taking a movie with extremely fast shutter speed (1/1000 second or more), PWM dimming and shutter interference may occur and striped patterns may be visible. This problem does not occur at a shutter speed below 1/1000.
