Removal of original illuminator and replacement of LED illumination kit must be done by yourself. The original switch and dial of illuminance adjustment are used as the same role. You can apply LED illuminator into CH-2 CHS with the original appearance.
The LED illuminator is 8 fold brighter than the original 20W halogen lamp. This illuminator is 2 fold brighter than Olympus BH-2 with the 100W halogen lamp.
This LED illuminator is flicker-free so you can shoot with the brightness you like. When taking a movie with extremely fast shutter speed (1/1000 second or more), PWM dimming and shutter interference may occur and striped patterns may be visible. This problem does not occur at a shutter speed below 1/1000.
