Bright field microscopy: It is a general observation method. It's not much fun.
Dark field microscopy: You can see the color of bacteria, it's yellow. Small organisms shine brightly.
Phase contrast microscopy: You can distinguish cells of bacteria. You can understand that the string-like structure is the connected cells of bacteria.
When using dark field and phase contrast microscopy, the light intensity falls, you can not take movies with the original illumination system. In this movie, I am using a microscope replace to a LED illumination system.
MIcroscope: Olympus CH-2
Objective lens: SPlan40 PL for Phase contrast microscopy.
Nikon 20 for dark field and bright field microscopy.
Relay lens: FK2.5 for phase contrast microscopy.
NFK5 for dark field and bright field microscopy.
Lighting system: LED illumination system for Olympus CH-2
