フィールドマイクロスコープでオンブバッタの心臓を観察しました。まだ子供なので内部が透けて見えているようです。正確には昆虫の場合は心臓とは言わず肺脈管というそうです。強弱のみ種類の脈があることがわかります。 ペリスタポンプのような仕組みで血液を送っているようです。心拍数は人と同じくらいでしょうか。小さな生き物は鼓動が速いイメージがあるので意外でした。
