 お気に入りのOlympus CH-2を魔改造してみました。

照明：　ハロゲンランプをLED照明に置き換え

光学系：　有限補正系光学系を無限遠光学系に変更

照明のLED化はすでに行っているので今回のメインは光学系の変更です。

無限遠光学系では対物レンズと接眼レンズの間に結像レンズを入れる必要があります。今回はOlympus BH2-UMA投光管を利用しました。BH2-UMA投光管は本来は金属顕微鏡用のパーツで、BH-2を無限遠光学系の金属顕微鏡にするためのもので結像レンズが入っています。BH-2とCH-2は光学系をつなぐ部分が同じ構造であるためBH2-UMA投光管をCH-2にも取り付けることが可能です。

光学系を無限遠補正系に変えるので、対物レンズも無限遠補正系のものに交換しました。

謎の中国製4倍レンズ、Olympus UPlan APO 10x, 40x, 100xをつけてみました。いずれのレンズも問題なく使うことができました。

BH2-UMA投光管はたまにオークションに出てきます。照明とつながる部分が失われたジャンク品も出ていました。光学系を変更する目的であれば後ろの部分は必要ないので買ってみてもよいかもしれません。

Since we have already changed the lighting to LED, the main thing this time is to change the optical system.

In the infinity optical system, it is necessary to insert an imaging lens between the objective lens and the eyepiece lens. This time, I used the Olympus BH2-UMA. The BH2-UMA is originally a part for a metallurgical microscope, which is used to make the BH-2 a metallurgical microscope with an infinity optical system, and contains an imaging lens. Since BH-2 and CH-2 have the same structure in which the optical system is connected, the BH2-UMA can be attached to CH-2 as well.

Since the optical system is changed to the infinity correction system, the objective lens is also replaced with the infinity correction system.

I attached the mysterious Chinese 4x lens, Olympus UPlan APO 10x, 40x, 100x. I was able to use both lenses without any problems.

BH2-UMA occasionally appear in auctions. Some junk items lost the part connected to the lighting. If you want to change the optical system, you don't need the back part, so you may buy it.
